Things that helped relieve symptoms of gastroenteritis but didn’t actually cure it were peppermint tea, chamomile tea, fennel tea (helps with gas and abdominal cramps), and meadowsweet tea (2 teaspoons to a cup). Chewing on a thin slice of ginger root, just extracting the juice and spitting out the fiber bits helps with nausea.
